Government Funding and Assistance
There are a range of government assistance programs available to businesses in the Great Lakes area. Both the Federal and State Government may be in a position to assist your business to relocate or expand depending upon your specific business needs, the numbers of people you employ and the markets which you serve.
A brief summary of some of the options available are outlined below. However, business owners are encouraged to consult the relevant Departmental websites and conduct further research into programs ahead of submitting applications as competition is often very fierce and the better briefed you are about the program, the more likely you are to understand how and if your business fits into the required criteria.
